These sessions offer a collaborative, trauma-informed therapeutic relationship, delivered through the safety and convenience of Telehealth. Petra works integratively, drawing from a range of evidence-based techniques to support each client’s goals.

This is ideal for:

  • Clients needing flexibility or remote access
  • Stress, anxiety, grief, relationships, and identity work

Limited concession rates available upon discussion.

  • While the terms are often used interchangeably, there are some subtle differences in focus and depth.

Counselling typically supports clients through a specific issue or life transition — such as grief, a relationship ending, or a period of stress or uncertainty. It’s often shorter-term (around 5–10 sessions), and helps people stabilise, gain clarity, or move through something acute.

Psychotherapy, on the other hand, tends to be longer-term (20–50+ sessions) and is focused on deeper emotional exploration and lasting internal change. It’s grounded in the understanding that meaningful transformation happens through a consistent, trusting therapeutic relationship — and that this process unfolds over time. Psychotherapy offers space to explore patterns, past experiences, trauma, identity, and inner narratives in a more layered and relational way.

At Inner Sense Therapies, sessions are tailored to your needs — whether you’re looking for short-term support or a longer, deeper journey. You’re welcome to discuss this with Petra in your free consultation.
